في اليوم العاشر للاضراب..وفود تزور المعتصمين أبرزهم سترة والعكر

قرر العلماء والرموز المعتصمين المضربين عن الطعام بمنزل الأستاذ عبد الوهاب حسين إنهاء اعتصامهم وإضرابهم عن الطعام وذلك في مساء الثلاثاء ليلة الأربعاء الموافق 24 / فبراير وذلك ببرنامج سيتم فيه إلقاء البيان الختامي للاعتصام والذي سيتضمن الخطوة القادمة كما سيتضمن البرنامج كلمة للجمعيات السياسية.

حيث ألقى اليوم المعتصمين بيانهم حول محاكمة المعتقلين من بينهم الأستاذ حسن مشيمع والشيخ عبدالجليل المقداد والدكتور عبدالجليل السنكيس حيث أشارا فيها "أن المحاكمة غير عادلة ومبنية على تجريم ممارسة المتهمين لحقوقهم، والاعتصام نقطة انطلاق قطار المطالبة بالحقوق ومطالبنا لا تنحصر في الإفراج عن المعتقلين بل أن تحركنا شامل لكل الملفات وعلى رأسها المسألة الدستورية، وسنعلن عن خطوتنا التالية في يوم فك الإضراب".

وعلق الأستاذ عبدالوهاب حسين فيما يتعلق بالشعارات حيث قال: لدينا قاعده، والتفاصيل من اختصاص الناس.. القاعدة هي أننا من خلال الشعارات نخاطب الرأي العام في الداخل والخارج، ولا نقبل أن يأخذ الرأي العام في الخارج صورة سلبية عن الشعارات، فهذه الشعارات هي العنوان التي ينظر من خلالها الرأي العام في الخارج إلينا.
أما من الناحية السياسية نوصي أن يكون التركيز على المطالب سواء فيما يتعلق بالمسألة الدستورية أو التجنيس أو الفساد، ونتجنب الشعارات التي قد تحرفنا إلى خلاف جانبي، فنتجنب الشعارات التي تمس شخص جلالة الملك، فقد يأتي من يقول أنكم مسستم شخص جلالة الملك ويستفيدون منها في حرف بوصلة الشعار.

جاء ذلك في اليوم العاشر للاعتصام والإضراب عن الطعام بتاريخ 21 فبراير 2009، والذي استقبل فيه المعتصمون 8 وفود كان أبرزهم وفد من جزيرة سترة، والعكر.
