عن أبي بصير قال: قلت لأبي عبد الله (ع): جُعلت فداك متى الفرج؟ فقال: يا أبا بصير وأنت ممن يريد الدنيا؟ من عَرف هذا الامر فقد فُرِّج عنه لانتظاره.

سأل أبو بصير أبا عبد الله (ع) فقال: تراني أدرك القائم (عج)؟ فقال: يا أبا بصير ألست تعرف إمامك؟ فقال: إي والله وأنت هو! وتناول يده, فقال: والله ما تبالي يا أبا بصير ألا تكون محتبياً بسيفك في ظل رواق القائم صلوات الله عليه

Abu Baseer asked Imam Sadiq (PBUH):" May my soul be sacrificed for you! When is the Salvation?" He said:" O Abu Baseer, are you of those who desire this earthly world? He who knew this matter has attained Salvation by awaiting it."

Abu Basir asked Imam Al-Sadiq(PBUH):"will I live to see Al-Qa'im(Imam Zaman)?" Imam Al-Sadiq (PBUH) said:"O Abu Basir! Dont you know your Imam?" he said:"Indeed! I swear to Allah I do! you are him!" Then, he held his hand.Imam Al-Sadiq said:"By Allah! O Abu Basir, have no worries, you shall be blessed when you will hold your sword under the command of Al-Qa'im (Imam Zaman PBUH) .""
